Our company history has its roots in the executive search practice of KPMG Peat Marwick, and later Foster Partners Executive Search. The Breckenridge Group brings together many of our most successful professionals from the former Foster Partners to form a highly focused and agile executive search firm dedicated to serving our clients. The Breckenridge Group is a retainer based executive search practice that operates under the strict ethical and professional standards that were developed as official policies at KPMG/Foster Partners over 30 years ago. In addition, we have adopted other policies that distinguish the Breckenridge Group in this specialized industry. With offices in Washington, DC and New York City that are staffed by members of the Non-Profit and Investment Banking service teams of the former Foster Partners, our professionals bring over 30 years of combined executive search experience to support our clients' needs. Our practice leaders have extensive non-profit and corporate executive recruitment experience; they know how to work with Boards of Directors and senior executives in the confidential and demanding environment inherent during periods of significant change, especially leadership changes. The Washington office of the Breckenridge Group specializes in senior level recruiting for the non-profit sector. We have completed dozens of searches in the past few years for some of the most prominent non-profit organizations. We work very closely with our clients to manage the very complex and confidential process of recruiting senior level professionals. A successful recruitment begins with hours of research and preparation to support the hard work of identifying and evaluating potential candidates.
